I should probably wait until tomorrow to comment on this...
Lets start early.  :)
Only on DDF does 24/6 mean 24/5/half/half

Well I guess I'll at least get a head start on the morning...

atheism is the absence of religion
I would argue that Atheism is just as much a religion as Judaism, Christianity, etc.

It's one thing to be agnostic, to say that you can't prove it either way. That's at least a fair argument.

But to say that core atheist beliefs such as that what the universe was created all on it's own completely by chance with the big bang, or Darwin's theory of the evolution of species is any more supported by science than the belief in intelligent design is simply a lie.

The odds of these things working by chance are so infinitesmally small that accepting it as fact can only be described as a religious, rather than scientific belief.

And this usually goes together with the religion of global warming a but that was supposed to be last week's PC :))

Not sure why you think this is something you need to argue. These are simple facts and dictionary definitions.
I've been waiting over 5 years with bated breath for someone to say that!

I'm sure a discussion of the idiosyncrasies of the English language and rules of capitalization are going to really pop.
Feelings don't care about your facts

Well it's DDF, it's Friday, and (presumably) @CountValentine will be involved. So yeah, I'm pretty sure we need to argue. I think it's in the rules somewhere

Since when does he argue only the side he actually believes?

All of that being true, still doesn't explain why argue about atheism (does it need to be capitalized) being a religion (and for some reason my impression is that's its believers tend to be more arrogant and condescending than those of other religions).

Lol, we'll wait and see, unless someone else plays the atheist side first, then CV can argue with him more comfortably..

Ok, I see it's time for me to go to sleep. I'll try reading this again in the morning when I'm actually awake and I'll see if it makes sense to me then.

My nephew, visiting from EY, was looking through the shaimos in my house. I told him he could take everything, so he said he'd gladly take it along with him back to EY, where they don't pay for shaimos. It then hit me that I can make good use of two free pcs of luggage next time I go to EY in J.
