Lets start early.
Well I guess I'll at least get a head start on the morning...
atheism is the absence of religion
I would argue that Atheism is just as much a religion as Judaism, Christianity, etc.
It's one thing to be agnostic, to say that you can't prove it either way. That's at least a fair argument.
But to say that core atheist beliefs such as that what the universe was created all on it's own completely by chance with the big bang, or Darwin's theory of the evolution of species is any more supported by science than the belief in intelligent design is simply a lie.
The odds of these things working by chance are so infinitesmally small that accepting it as fact can only be described as a religious, rather than scientific belief.
And this usually goes together with the religion of global warming a but that was supposed to be last week's PC
