If tweets of things needed to go in threads of the things they were about, there would be no tweets thread.
Nu, shnell. I’ve got stuff to post. :)

Well, that's precisely the paradox here:

If videos of things needed to go in threads of the things they were about, there would be no videos thread.

A tweet of a video belongs in interesting videos or interesting tweets thread ?

Videos thread. Twitter isn't a dedicated video-sharing platform, and
people don't necessarily come to the tweets thread expecting videos.

Well, that's precisely the paradox here:

Not quite a paradox. The thread titles are inclusive of things which may fall into other categories, but can be posted in the general Tweets/Pictures/Videos threads by virtue of being interesting, funny, or random. The dilemma is where to post without violating the 12th Commandment of "Thou shalt not cross-post." Personally, I'd x-post with a disclaimer, and brace for the ire of the x-post police.

Not an issue:
Quote from: Dan
"12. No cross-posting.  Do not make the same post on 2 different boards or threads."

Interestingly:
Quote from: Wikipedia
Crossposting is the act of posting the same message to multiple information channels; forums, mailing lists, or newsgroups. This is distinct from multiposting, which is the posting of separate identical messages, individually, to each channel, (a forum, a newsgroup, an email list, or topic area).

There's info there about why you would (true-)crosspost: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crossposting

The video should've gone in the video thread and the joke in the puns thread.

A Tweet that's about Covid and the NFL... where do I post it? Covid board Tweets, or JS funny Tweets?

(Does anyone seriously care about multiposting?) I'd say it goes in the funny thread if it's funny.

But of course. Can you tell who the buyers are for each of these? https://twitter.com/Squilled

Thanks for the Twitter rabbit hole. I didn't really see any paid posts, although there was plenty of product placement. DD seems to be on a monthly plan.

"The community of Waldsolms posthumously thanks the Wedel couple for this important inheritance," the community said in a statement.

When a sentence is structured like the one above, is the thanks being given after the couple's death or the community's?

+1

This would be better:

"The community of Waldsolms thanks the Wedel couple, posthumously, for this important inheritance," the community said in a statement.

I think the word is superfluous. It's an inheritance.

Maybe the Wedels were the community.

Tried using a font detector?
There's plenty of them online.
