Oh that back flushed part shouldn't be going inwards by getting narrower, would be a terrible design flaw to leave a gap there on the bottom, but I'd double check with the store.

If you are being home, there are a number of options. Matzo (YMMV, and only if you brok, don't sue me if your fish dies) or freeze dried worms (check the chometz status). If you are going away and looking for a vacation food block, I don't know of any that are not chometz.

In the local stores, I believe it cost the same much as Coke usually does. I don't think there is any markup, but I may be wrong.

It is usually triple the price or more. If it is the same as regular cost, I will take 50 cases.

Frozen worms
Cucumbers (will need to be clipped or weighed down)
Nothing - a fish could easily go for a week every now and then without eating with no ill effects.

Don't give it matza meal. Think about what it does to your bowels, and imagine what it'll do to the fish.

Are you talking about the pesach coke with the yellow cap? In local stores in CLE it's usually the same price ($2.99-$3.79), it just doesn't go on sale

Yes, the one for pesach. I thought it was the same as Mexican Coke since I believe it uses cane sugar instead of corn syrup. Might have to try it and see how it tastes. Mexican Coke is $35 a case at Sam's.

Btw small hack 6hpacks in Canada are 710ml instead of 500ml like the US that together with some good sales (usually capped) and the exchange rate gives you some pretty cheap prices.

Mexican Coke comes in 355ml and hard to find 500ml. They do come in thick glass bottles.
