Not that I recall but..........
...Besides according to many they would not work for a reshus harabim deoraysa anyhow.

I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Just because Google says there's an eruv doesn't mean there is a kosher eruv
So now that we have the facts the facts on the ground wrong, let's make ourselves poskim as well.

Listen, personally I've never used an eruv in my life. But I'm not about to say that thousands of Jews are being mechalel shabbos either.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

That Google shows one certainly does not mean that there is a kosher one according to R Moshe and many others. I understand that there are those who hold that there is one which is kosher and discussed it in the post you quoted. The tumult about the eruv in Boro Park is also dependent upon similar reasoning as is well known.

According to many including R Moshe there is not for this reason. Those who hold there is either hold it is not deoraysa or that it is more than tzuras hapesach since it is an island to grossly oversimplify it.

As much as rav Moshe was the posek hador an eiruv is a community issue, and IF a local rav has the knowledge to matir an eiruv then there is no reason not to. It's easy to be machmir. To say that the BP eiruv is not valid simply because rav Moshe held its not valid is a gross over simplification. IINM rav menashe Klein holds it would work, and he held it would work even when rav Moshe said it couldn't work.

Not sure if this was directed at me, but I do not disagree. My point is that the existence of an eruv in these locations does not mean that tzuras hapesach works for a reshus harabim. Either you hold that it is not reshus harabim deorayso or you hold it is more than tzuras hapesach. The alternative is to hold that it is not a kosher eruv and as we know there are many who actually hold that way.

I didn't notice your edit before.
It's R' Moshe who says that they are being mechalel shabbos (This is unlike most other cases where R' Moshe holds something is assur and others say it's muttar where R' Moshe did not say what they are doing is wrong, some examples include eating potato chips and tuna fish)

I don't know anything about the alarm switches but I assume it just bypasses the door keeping the circuit running which is not really doing anything as apposed to a switch that turns on a light

Why is it a community issue?? Rav Moshe didn't seen to feel t was not his place to pasken? And how could a contemporary local Rav have the audacity to think his knowledge of Eruvin is enough to disagree with R' Moshe?

I could be wrong but I've heard r Moshe did not want to park in originally because it's a community issue.
So no one can argue with r Moshe? Like no one argues with rashi?

As I said upthread r' Moshe did not get involved in everything that everyone else did and he respectfully disagreed however in regard to the eruv he said they are wrong

Don't think its comparable those who argued with Rashi at least had knowledge of the entire Torah at their fingertips... I don't think there are many contemporary rabbonim who have that even for  hilchos eruvin forget the rest....

Ok , and an actual competent rav cam disagree, especially on an issue as complicated as eiruv.
