Many times. Sometimes with Doona on the plane and sometimes under.

when flying with it on plane, how is it attached to seat?
when flying with it under plane, you gate check it as is?

On the plane, we put the seat belt through the Doona handle as if you were putting it into the car without the base (if you've never done that, it looks like this but you don't have to have it going around the back of the Doona).

Under the plane, we put it in this and gate check.

Do the united planes tlv-nyc both versions have bassinet in business?

Good question about the bassinet - is this the type of service that I ask at the gate or do I call UA ahead of time for arrangements?

Call now. Then confirm when you get to the airport (and again at the gate if you feel like it).

Spoke to united today. they said on the old version 777 with the old business class there are bassinets by seats 8A,B 8k,L in J class and by seats 16D,E and 31D,E in economy. On the planes with the new polaris business class there is a bassinet by seat 9A,L in J class and by seats 16D,E and 31D,E in economy class

Sorry for this Q- I posted elsewhere but didn't receive a response.

Is an infant award 10% of the adult MILEAGE for business class on Skyteam partners? I remember reading something about KE metal being different than the partners with regard to this.

That depends on which program you're redeeming from.

IINM only BA is 10% of mileage (oneworld)
AC has flat $ fares for infant when adult redeeming miles - a real bargain (Star Alliance)
I once got an infant ticket for Free along with an adult redemption from AF (flying DL/SU metal - skyteam) but I believe that was an error.

My apologies, I was wondering if Korean Air lets you book an infant award on partners in business class for 10% miles.

Caused some major delays at check-in and at SVO connection (I have a hunch that it wasn't really ticketed properly - but I guess they weren't going to leave an infant stranded at SVO en route from NYC to TLV).

Trying to get the baby bulk seat for Aa flight to LHR on way to TLV- Aa can't help us because they say it's ba coded flight and ba says hey ant do anything with Aa flight so I can't change seats- any ideas and has anyone had success booking that baby bulkhead with Aa in past? Many tjanks

Flying AA JFK-LAX red-eye in August with a 16 month old. Booked the aisle and and window and left the middle open - hoping no one will book the seat and we can use it for the baby. Is it worth the gamble or should we just book her a seat?
I booked an award 'hold' ticket in the mean time but not sure what to do... any advice?

It's a gamble. You need to decide based on how bad it would be if the seat was taken, and incorporate that with the price of a seat. I usually don't book a seat, and 9/10 times I get one anyway. There are perks to having a cute kid

So I keep holding the seat for 5 days at a time (re-holding when 5 days end) in an attempt to keep the seat open... good tactic?
