What does the Portal have to do with this? You can't use Amex because it only supports visa or master card

Cmiiw but last time I checked it only works for debit cards.

When you try to add a visa gift card it says due to federal regulations you can't connect a prepaid debit card to square cash

If you both have the Cash app it's very simple and fast to send money
But you don't get a Mobile reader
