best latest android phone out there?

Im a BlackBerry boy, so not too familiar with androids. Wife has Q10 that is wearing out, and wants to move to android. Whats the best out there? Not the size of tablet (BlackBerry passport too big for her, a note would be too big too) and good photos and battery are key for her. Galaxy s6 or s6 edge? Other brands? Prices aren't a factor, going on business account. Carrier: AT&T.

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

I have the htc one m8 and i love it! Has amazing battery life and is very quick and fluid.

Yeah its the last 3 listed that I'd be cautious of the battery life. Then again battery life is one of my top priorities personally when I look for a new phone.

so if we avoid the last 3, we still have 3 others to choose from! And if we do samsung, edge version or not? Again, dont mind the extra costs.

Seems for most not to be worth the extra money.  Not as useful as on the Note Edge.
