MINT BILLS Site Redesign
« on: April 23, 2015, 07:37:28 PM »
Just saw the new design of the Mint Bills (formerly Check/Pageonce) site.

I am missing the Accounts section where you can quickly refresh all of your card accounts in one spot. Now you have to click into a specific account to refresh it. Much harder to keep track of what's done that way. Besides, it's by card account rather than master account (login).

The good looks do not make up for the loss in functionality.
I remember when a coke was a nickel, and you could buy VRs in OD.

does mint bills have any advantage over mint.com, besides for allowing you to pay the bills on their site?
Workflowy. You won't know what you're missing until you try it.

It did. It was much better at reminding you when to pay your bills and showing you all your payments that are due in one screen. It was a good replacement for Manilla.

The new redesign doesn't make it useless, but does ruin certain key features.

I also like the transaction screens for easily checking bluebird balances and figuring out load limits.

So it showed you all the same things, just showed them in a better way?
Was there any information it had/has that mint.com doesn't?

It has a page showing you your payments due, sorted by due date:

Here's what it looks like now:

So does mint.com. The only chisaron is if you already paid a CC bill, it doesn't change in the list of bills (but only in the list of accounts, where it gives your balance).

Does Mint Bills show you the actual amount you owe?

I think it's the statement balance.

And if you pay more than minimum it will move down the list as payment is not due anymore.

I try not to make a partial payment until Ivan send the whole thing, even from multiple sources. Just not worth losing sight of it.

I don't think so. There isn't really much in the way of options

Is it a problem with Chase CCs, bank accounts, or both?

Probably never, just like some airlines did with AwardWallet, they want you to visit their own site.
