The only way for them not to get a carry on is if you got a basic economy ticket. Yes if they are on the same ticket as you they get a checked bag and priority (or what ever level boarding it's called....)

How don't you see an answer?! There's a limited amount of people iirc like 9 ppl. What ever the benefits of the card gives, it will give. The card doesn't give a carry on benefit  and therefore it won't give that benefit. But checked bag and earlier boarding is a benefit so it will give it.
