You need to buy the first ticket in one of the very high classes, plus I think you need to pay YQ for the second ticket.

I don't understand. When I go to check-in on a fully booked flight they give me only a small number of seat options. When I go to the check-in desk the agent seems to be able to put me practically anywhere. How?
I'm not who you think I am.

A lot of airlines block seats at online check in. Also they can do whatever they want in the airport, even remove someone from their reserved seat, but I don't know why they would do it without a good reason.

I want to know how hard is to go from DUS to that QDO station

Random question but not sure where to post.

Does anyone have any experience flying a Boeing 777-200 (version 1) such as AA flight 198 where the business class seats have some of them that are facing backwards? (see attached). If I am flying with a spouse, what would be the ideal seats to book? Should we book 2 seats on the sides of the plane one in front of another where they are facing each other or book 2 of the middle seats (either both facing fwd or both facing backwards?

Thanks

Is it a bad idea to take a 6am to 9am flight from CNS to SYD with Virgin Aus. if I have to catch an 11am flight with Delta to NYC? What happens if flight is delayed and we miss the Delta flight?
I see that VA partners with Delta because you can book that flight with Delta miles...Any way to have tickets merged in some sense so they have to accommodate if flight is delayed?

I am sometimes accused of overthinking things. I am still mulling over whether that accusation has merit.

you have to pay a full fare ticket, however you will earn many more miles on that booking.

So maybe you can pay my grocery bill since you'll be earning lots of miles/points for the purchase?

Traveling with a toddler and an infant through Turkey (to Israel from JFK) and have 6 hours in IST. Would I be able to collect my stroller in IST, or will it be gate-checked in JFK all the way through to TLV?

Do FA's know what fare class you're booked in? Is it true that it's on the same passenger list that they have for the food and seats and stuff?
