Looking for suggestions I have 2 flights either:

JFK-LHR-TLV on Virgin Atlantic and ELAL (This one is a 2hr layover is that enough time or more importantly enough time for the bags to make it)
JFK-MAD-TLV on Iberia and Elal

Which has a better chance of the bags getting through? (I already had a JFK-LHR-TLV AA Elal combo where I didn't get my bags till 24hrs later....)
Which is Nicer in terms of seating (Economy).
VS.

I would say Virgin Atlantic their interiors look nicer, to be honest never VA but they seem to be best choice to flying across the Atlantic.

MAD is an easier airport to transit through.

I guess depending on when your flying, but Especially if you're flying around Pesach time when Brext comes into effect and then LHR will really be a mess.

Made a mistake on a Alitalia booking to the US however since the ticket was booked from the Israeli site the the airline does not want to honor the 24 hour cancellation policy instead they told me I have 14 days to cancel the ticket and the cancellation fee is 100 shekal per ticket. Is their anyway around this?

Do they have to honor the policy? Can I file a claim via the DOT and get my money back?

had the same issue with EL AL. They claimed since I used the Israeli website, I’m not eligible for 24hr cancellation. Filed a DOT, and they refunded me a few days later.

I’ve never flown either, but from what I’ve heard from family and friends who have flown them, Aeroflot seems to be better.

I'm trying to find availability on CX from TLV-HKG sometime between Apr 3-9 and there's not a single seat available on any day in any class. When I look a bit earlier though, there's a ton of availability through March 29 (mostly in premium econ, up to 6 seats, and 1 or 2 here and there in economy or business).

Would that indicate that in a week or two from now they should release more seats on the flights that I need, or could it be that after Mar 30 travel is up and any seats that they're releasing far-out have already been booked? TIA.

Also, I see on BA that TLV-HKG on CX has $144 of taxes and fees in premium econ. Was that always like that, or is that new post-Nov 2 when Hong Kong started allowing fuel surcharges?

I have an ELAL reservation YYZ-TLV RT (Premium Economy). It was booked through priceline... When I login to elal it doesn't give me the option to select seats it shows a booking reservation number XXXXXX and then at trip status it shows "recorded" is it possible it was not ticketed? Does recorded mean ticketed?

Sometimes you have to PUTPAC for seats.
