I have a 9 hr stopover in Heathrow with kids. I am not a frequent flyer on BA. Only access to a lounge is pretty expensive. Any ideas?

Some (all?) states have non-driver IDs. Can you fly with those?

There is a TSA protocol for flying domestically, but it requires that a TSA officer is able to confirm your identity using publicly available databases. That being said, given the young age, I'd be a bit nervous that the kid might not have much of a profile in the databases.

In the past I've gotten through with 2 non photo IDs such as insurance card and credit card (maybe it was 3). Just give yourself some extra time and be pleasant and polite.

AF JFK to CDG with flying blue and AF CDG to PRG with cash.
Connection is 01:25 without any checked bags.

1) Will I be able to check in all the way through with at JFK?
2) Will I be protected on AF?

You should be able to do online check-in for the second flight before you leave, no?

You would not be protected for any delays since separate tickets.

Since both are AF you can get both Boarding passes in JFK, you can even check through bags, if you show the check in agent your second ticket.
