Two questions.

A) United question: With UA Premier Platinum, I booked through Amex travel. Obviously I couldn’t book into Economy Plus at booking, but in the United app I’m being charged for selecting those seats. Will I have to call in to get them?

B) Amex points rebate question: if my selected airline is United, and one leg is with Swiss, will I still get my points rebate?

Depends if the ticket is issued on 016 United ticket stock or 724 Swiss. Amex usually goes by the first flight in the itinerary.

Indeed, my ticket is 016. United-Swiss-United.

Answer: my mileage number wasn’t properly attached, after chatting to attach it I was able to select E+.

Do same day changes work for partner airlines as well? In this case, I would want to change a direct United TLV-EWR flight (outbound was flown already), to one with a stop in Switzerland (need to visit a FM) operated by Swiss. If I change it now fare difference is $990. If I wait until 24 hours before, can I change it for the $75 SDC fee (assuming the flight is not sold out)?

Kind of a time sensitive question.

AFAIK, can only select UA flights with SDC.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

What are some decent mileage options to look at for 1 way flights from USA to LHR?
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

Two questions:
- Anyone know if I can get Kosher Meals on COPA Air? (My flight legs are JFK-PTY-COR and COR-PTY-JFK)
- If I bring food with me in my checked luggage, will it pose any issues with either Panamanian or Argentinian customs?

Normally, yes.

These days, there's isn't even the option on their site. I tweeted them and am waiting on a response.

All that being said, Copa KSMLs are some of the worst I've ever tried. So you need your own food regardless.

I just booked a RT in J through AMEX with points.
AA flights, Outbound on BA LAX-LHR-TLV Return on AA TLV-JFK-LAX
1) what are my cancellation options beyond the initial 24 hours?
2) I've never transited in LHR, is one hour sufficent?
thanks

AA 001 ticket number or BA 125?

For sure can cancel for airline credit. Probably also option for cancel minus fee. Exact amount would depend on your tickets fare rules. If you can’t find it anywhere online / in your emails, you can call Amex Travel to double check.

1 hour in LHR is quite short (especially traveling with kids). and if there's even a 1/4-1/2 hour delay your in trouble.
