What's an amex point transfer that would be best for a  an April 3rd one way united flight to Hawaii?

What's your origination city? And do you have Citi ThankYou points or Capital One miles?

No worries, and I also meant to ask: Economy or Business class?

I'll assume economy for now since UA doesn't release much premium cabin space on east coast to HNL routes.

If you want a direct flight you could transfer the points to Aeroplan and book this EWR itinerary for 22.5K 1W:

Ok thanks

No problem.

And the reason I was asking about Citi/Cap1 is b/c they transfer to Turkish, and TK should have access to the same award space and would only charge 7.5k  :)

Apparently, to check in on United App for an international flight you need to scan your passport in app.
It's completely not working for me, anyone else having issues with this?

You mean purchase a “main cabin extra” seat? Should be doable. View the seat map and there should be price for cash or miles.

How much miles would it cost on a NYC-TLV flight?

Is it possible to upgrade a Delta flight to business at the airport? I don't see any options, cash or miles, online.

AA website said that mileage tickets can be redeposited for no fee
i booked and want to cancel, now i see that its saying miles must be used within a year of original ticketing.
anyway around that? was it in the fine print all along?
thanks

That's not how I thought it worked...I thought it was a no-strings-attached refund. Can you post a screenshot of exactly what you're seeing.

I cancelled AA reward tickets several times before. Miles were redeposited and there was no such requirement as miles must be used with a year.  Does AA changes the policy?

Might have gotten confused with this 1 year policy.

If your plans change and you no longer wish to travel, you can cancel your trip anytime on aa.com. We’ll reinstate your miles and refund eligible taxes and fees up to 1 year after the ticket issue date, but you have to cancel your trip before the first flight departs. If you cancel your trip on aa.com, your miles will be reinstated and your refund will be requested automatically in most cases. There is no fee to reinstate your miles.

how would i go about this dilemma: were bringing a new stroller to ey. its big. while in the box the dimensions are 191 cm which exceeds the 158cm limit (turkish).
what are my options? does turkish allow to check in a stroller without a baby? it happens to be we're already checking in 1 stroller for another member of our travel group , that has a baby. (i guess we could separate from each other for a few minutes and ask to check in the empty stroller, but wud they even let that?)

even cutting down the box wont help as the frame of the stroller already exceeds the max. (its a double stroller)

whats the cost of oversized baggage?

thoughts??

nothings impossible- the word itself says Im possible

Not a random question, but rather a random post.

GVA airport April fool's around the future of speedy boarding process - from check in to the airplane in 7mn  ::)

Starting in the summer of 2022, passengers will be able to (on a voluntary basis) choose a new boarding process.

They will then follow the same route as their luggage and will be scanned in a single operation.

However, they will have to remember to take an approved helmet to make the experience possible
