It definitely works within one week of the flight. Question is if it works within 24 hours of the flight as well.
Which airline cash/points can I cancel after 24 hours?
All major U.S. airlines with points.
Even if it’s the basic economy? Also if it’s booked on chase ultimate rewards or Amex travel? Up to how close to the flight?
with united premier silver- does that give access to long haul (US to TLV) economy plus and upgrades etc.. or that benefit is only with short hall US flights?
Air Canada to TLV charges $ to book any seat, is there any way around this other than to wait and get assigned a random seat?
you can select a free seat at check in.
Thanks, passenger doesn't want to take a chance that they will get a middle seat, so I guess they need to pay.
if its not originating in YUL / YYZ, there is a better chance to select a good seat at check in, since its more than 24 hours before the long flight.
With some other airlines, I found that it doesn't work as advertised.
You can get e+ at checkin, now with covid I think you are required to upload your docs to check-in online. No upgrades.
Thanks!!Would I be able to do it at the gate as well? The website was so confusing, and the agent didn't know much, thanks for clarifying that E+ applies to the long hall flights (EWR/TLV as well..
I've not done it but no reason it won't work. Watch the seats on your app carefully, a good seat like an exit row may open if the passenger gets upgraded. You should be able to switch right on the app.
Which airline status that can be earned by cc spend is the best value to go for?
That depends on a number of things. For example: What is your primary airport? And how much spending per year are you willing to dedicate to this endeavor?
