AA miles on B6 metal. How can I switch my mileage number to my B6? Any partners that would work?

Corelate the bags you have with the bar codes you have, to confirm your missing bag is the one whose bar code you're missing.
Call the airline with a bag description?

Did you match them up?
Do you have the receipt for the missing package? Is it possible the piece was left on the curb at TLV or at check in? Maybe in the vehicle which drove you to the airport?

I have a flight credit on American Airlines. The ticket was in the main fare class. I am looking to use the flight credit to purchase a basic economy ticket (fare class) and I was told by American airlines that is not possible -- that a flight credit can only be used to purchase the same fare class as the original ticket.

I do not see this on their terms and conditions (https://www.aa.com/i18n/customer-service/payment-options/travel-credit.jsp) can any one confirm this is in fact the case or should I lodge a DOT complaint?

Upgrade your Preferred to a Reserve, just by utilizing the 1.5 vs. 1.25 on this redemption you’ll earn back the effective $250 annual fee with a hefty profit and it offers great protections.

Has UA recently moved their entire CS phone rep operations overseas?! I've been calling their reservations line for the past 2 weeks to deal with an issue and apparently no rep can even understand my issue, let alone fix it!

Maybe somewhere here has a suggestion. DW and I got $100 TravelBank credits from a CLEAR signup offer last year. We weren't able to use those credits/funds until now when we booked flights EWR-DEN. Alas, when I tried to use those funds to upgrade seats and/or pay for a checked bag, they were gone. A search through my email turned up a notice from last year from UA when we got the credits that the funds would expire at the end of May 2022. Any idea how to get those credits reinstated, other than constantly talking to UA phone reps who barely speak English and are not much better than a bot (please forgive the frustration)?

TIA

Does the year of birth matter if the day and month is good?

I think the whole birthday is irrelevant.

So if the name matches I’m good to go?

Agreed they don't seem too competent in general, but they probably wouldn't be able to help. Unless there is some trick to do this, United isn't just going to reinstate expired TB.

OK, thanks for the response. They all told me to submit a case/inquiry on their website. I guess it's worth a shot.

I have a stack of certificates from AA that I'm supposed to present flight attendants with to recognize outstanding service. Had anyone used these? Are they appreciated?

It's relevant for TSA Pre
Also in terminals where security doesn't ask for your boarding pass rather you insert your ID into the machine, (is that still a thing or was it a failed Covid experiment?), your DOB needs to match for that to work but you can correct it at the check-in desk usually.

Yes, still a thing as of last week.
