Seems like there's only one seat on the United flights, and one seat on the Southwest flight from MDW.

ETA: there is a United flight to PHL leaving 2pm, but you will need to drive to get to JFK..

Returning from Miami to EWR on Friday morning, nervous with Shabbos. Can I purchase two tickets for a 6:45 and a 9:45 on UA, cancel the 9:45 if all goes good with the 6:45, and have the 9:45 as a backup?

Only if you have two names (first/middle). Otherwise system may cancel one or even both as a duplicate

Right. Had in the past where they canceled both bookings even when they were on separate flights.

recap after all options to lga/jfk failed i found at 1pm ord time a 210 flight to hpn that was supposed to land at 530 more then enough time to make it to jfk for EK 206 tonight at 10:20pm in F

as you can see it became 2+ hrs delayed and landed at 750pm. he upon landing he jumped into a lyft and made it just after 9pm to jfk and was check in and still fasting last i heard from him

You said it right! Bh, happily resting in my hotel in Milan now. Took a drink about an hour after fast ended and properly ate maybe 2 hours after. AA 1:30 flight was supposed to leave me 6 hours from touchdown to takeoff in NY, and I ended up down to the second. I boarded 3 flights, was canceled once, delayed maybe 6 different times. What a day. Literally could not have done it without @yeshivabucher

I learned many a lesson. First and foremost is never fly American. I already knew that, but unfortunately it was one of the only options that worked. Spoke to my LOR about flying a positioning flight on 9av nidche, and while he permitted it, that doesn't mean it's ideal. Not doing that again.

hope this the right thread for this (if not I'm sure someone will tell me)

I have a flight from EWR to ANC on 8/21 on united direct flight arrival ~730PM
Because of schedule change I can change to different flight free of charge.

My options are:
EWR ORD ANC 6:30AM-1:02PM 1:18 layover in ORD
EWR ORD ANC 5:00AM 1:02PM 2:49 layover in ORD
EWR DEN ANC 6:44AM-2:54PM 2:33 layover in DEN
EWR DEN ANC 8:20AM 2:54PM 0:57 layover in DEN

Traveling with wife and 6 y/o and baggage. Wife is on separate confirmation number (if that matters)

should I switch ?
I would rather arrive earlier (will help with my trip schedule once i arrive in ANC) but if there is a bigger chance I'll run into issues with connections its not worth it
I am assuming the short layovers are out.
Any advice?
Are EWR ORD DEN prone to delays?
Are morning flights better in regards to lower probability of delays?
