I booked a ticket with United a few weeks ago for Tomorrow, now  the same ticket is about $1,000 less, is there anyway I can redo it & save the difference as a credit?

Basic economy or regular?
120 characters? Hmm, I wonder what I could write with 64 characters. Boy, it's gonna be hard to use up 15 characters. W-

What happens if you click change flight and search for the exact same flight?

You should have no issue cancelling and rebooking at the cheaper price and getting a credit. You can ask a rep to do it for you and hold the flight for you so you shouldn't lose it.

Thanks.

Anyway to book a flight on priceline for 2 pax and only upgrade one pax for the bags?
Meaning i want to have them sitting together, versus 2 separate bookings which would randomize the seating.

That was not the case.

It was booked with a TA, TA says that any remaining credit with united will be forfeited. united rep says needs to be done with agent bla bla bla

Anyway to use a delta GC to book a mock flight, and cancel to get ecredits?
Have existing eCredits in my account. I put a reservation on hold and want to use my gc to cover the balance, but because my gc is 450 and my balance is 420 it would overlap with the ecredit so she claims she can't use it.

So was thinking If there's a way to cancel a flight and get an ecredit right away?

hope this the right thread for this (if not I'm sure someone will tell me)

I have a flight from EWR to ANC on 8/21 on united direct flight arrival ~730PM
Because of schedule change I can change to different flight free of charge.

My options are:
EWR ORD ANC 6:30AM-1:02PM 1:18 layover in ORD
EWR ORD ANC 5:00AM 1:02PM 2:49 layover in ORD
EWR DEN ANC 6:44AM-2:54PM 2:33 layover in DEN
EWR DEN ANC 8:20AM 2:54PM 0:57 layover in DEN

Traveling with wife and 6 y/o and baggage. Wife is on separate confirmation number (if that matters)

should I switch ?
I would rather arrive earlier (will help with my trip schedule once i arrive in ANC) but if there is a bigger chance I'll run into issues with connections its not worth it
I am assuming the short layovers are out.
Any advice?
Are EWR ORD DEN prone to delays?
Are morning flights better in regards to lower probability of delays?

I posted this question a few days ago, but by the time it was approved by a mod (it was my first post) it was buried in the thread. Hope its ok if I "bump" it.

All correct.

Online booking you can get credit for cheaper.

That’s not an option for travel agency booking. Instead, agency booking has option to pay cancellation fee ($100-$400, depending on cabin and route) and then rebook for cheaper.
