Turkish allows you to hold an award for 3 days, which will allow you to transfer in miles after the award is on hold.

Can this be done online? How?

Did you look when you log into BA and AA ?
Beyond that, I have no ideas.  I always see ticket numbers in the email.

Dan has mentioned a Virgin Atlantic companion discount a couple of times, but I cannot seem to find any information on it. the only thing I can find online is about the certificate they give cardholders. Does anyone know what the rules are for this discount, if I can book for two other people using this discount, and if really all I need to do is call?

Is there a thread on here explaining a little bit about American Airlines status and system wide upgrades? How they work, how to check availability, etc…

I'm looking to book a domestic hidden city ticket that stops in JFK and final destination is in BDA (Bermuda), I want to get off at JFK.
I have a passport card with me, not the passport book. As per my research it seems that a passport card would only allow me to travel to Bermuda by land or sea and that I would not be able to fly there.
My question is as follows. I have heard that the only place that checks if you have a passport book is the last destination before leaving the country. So in that case would I be able to board this hidden city flight and get off at JFK? Or would they ask for passport book in the first leg of the journey as well.
TIA
