I'm looking to book a domestic hidden city ticket that stops in JFK and final destination is in BDA (Bermuda), I want to get off at JFK.
I have a passport card with me, not the passport book. As per my research it seems that a passport card would only allow me to travel to Bermuda by land or sea and that I would not be able to fly there.
My question is as follows. I have heard that the only place that checks if you have a passport book is the last destination before leaving the country. So in that case would I be able to board this hidden city flight and get off at JFK? Or would they ask for passport book in the first leg of the journey as well.
TIA

Interesting question. I would guess that you would be bale to board. Worse case scenario, tell them somebody is waiting in JFK with your passport.

Different airlines may have different policies but when I flew LH from LHR to TLV via FRA earlier this year,  they made me show my documentation for eligibility to enter Israel at LHR.

Bring your regular passport with you. They can and do ask for the right documentation at the first leg of the journey.

If youre getting off at JFK why do you need to speak to an agent at all? Check in online and go straight to security. No one is asking you anything

I've seen numerous reports of people being asked for passports on their first leg. I don't see why he shouldn't take along his passport, just in case.

I agree 100% with this but I think the issue is that he doesn't have his passport with him at the moment.

In similar scenario they asked me for my passport, and want not able to check in online (if yes then you can just bypass everybody and go straight to gate)

LHR to FRA already needs a passport due to not being in Schengen. Here he travels domestically USA on first leg.

I want to book a United flight using points for myself, and cash for my family (2 separate reservations).
I have a United Quest card that I will use to book the taxes and fees for my redemption.
Would united let me combine these two reservations into one so that the rest of my family can get the Quest benefits as well?

Not a very frequent flyer so might be a dumb question.
I Just flew United from TLV-EWR. At the gate before boarding there was an announcement made that passengers were not allowed to bring any liquids on board. There was someone checking all carry on luggage and bags as well to insure that there were no drinks in there. Is this typical?

Yes

EWR-TLV was no problem. Is this specific for this airline/route? What's the reason?

Because in EWR TSA checks liquid. In Israel security allows liquid, so they do it at the gate. Theatre security.

No, they required me to show proof of Israeli Covid insurance.

A phone agent should be able to split the pnr's and then cancel one
