When purchasing Frontier tickets in an airport, do I need everyone's ID or is name and DOB good?
Name and DOB is enough.

How many days since these charges posted? Sometimes charges fall off and reappear later.

I booked 4 tickets on AC through UA around a month ago
Today i recieved email from AC with refund reciept for one of the pax
i never requested any refund
the reciept is for zero dollars and the the passenegr is still ticketed both on AC and UA website
Anybody know what the story is thanks

BTW best way to contact AC is through their TLV office which has friendly reps that speak both hebrew and pretty good english. Calling regular number is waist of time unless you speak hindi

There was a thread with fresh posts on DDF of a scammer that got ahold of their reservation and cancelled it.
I strongly recommend you call the airline and confirm ALL the passengers are still ticketed.
And LOCK the reservation.

How do you lock a reservation? Is that something all airlines allow?

Kol zman you have a ticket number you should be fine, just keep checking , and worse case, they make you pay what you already confirmed in your reservation, (make sure you have a receipt) and they should only charge you what you were already supposed to have paid. But a ticket number in their system means they are registering it as paid, they may deduct money at some point

All the having a ticket number means is that at one point it was ticketed, which they already know.

Ticket status is what’s important (needs to be Open), and that doesn’t show up online.

A refunded ticket is still the same ticket number. It’s just not good for anything..

Not always true
Often partner booked awards show flown on the sellers record as soon as they are under partner/operator control

I have an award flight booked with UA miles on Air Canada with a lousy connection. What is the standby policy on such a ticket?

Curious if anyone has flown in this seat: United 777-200 has 2 rows in the back that only have 2 in the row... I f I am going to be in economy should i switch and take an aisle there instead of a row of 3?  https://www.seatguru.com/airlines/United_Airlines/United_Airlines_Boeing_777-200_V6.php

Dan has mentioned a Virgin Atlantic companion discount a couple of times, but I cannot seem to find any information on it. the only thing I can find online is about the certificate they give cardholders. Does anyone know what the rules are for this discount, if I can book for two other people using this discount, and if really all I need to do is call?
You have to call you may have to HUCA but not more than once it’s around 40% off on the companion usually some reps would give 50 and some may/may not combine with discounted pricing like now with 30% off prices. There’s also a BIG possibility of expanded availability over the phone especially if shorter/longer stop is desired. You can also mix and match on one ticket premium and business for example tlv-Lhr premium and Lhr-jfk upper class

I'm flying on united, most of the paid economy seats are still empty, would I be better off not reserving a seat and hoping to get put closer to the front? Also I'm on an itenerary with my wife, would we be put together, or is there a risk of us getting two middle seats?

I tried searching but didn't find anything. Thanks

IME it's YMMV. Maybe 50/50. I've been put in PE or premium seats before, especially if all other seats end up filling up.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

When did domestic one way tickets go back to being more expensive than roundtrip? I thought they did away with that several years ago... I just was booking one way from CLE to EWR on United and the one way price was $414, but if I added a return in august the price dropped to $283.   This scenario repeated itself multiple times in the past two weeks.
