They would reprice unless there’s a waiver of some sort or you have a very convincing reason they shouldn’t.

Which airlines' points program has the best redemption for nonstop flights from NY to LA? best I see is BA for 16k + tax. I believe there is cheaper, just not familiar with all partners' charts. (flight could be on any airline - just looking for the best redemption rate/fixed rate)
