Did SQ recently change the YQ that they charge for domestic UA flights? Just put IAD-SFO-OGG-SFO-PHL on hold and the guy quoted me ~$400 Singapore Dollars ($290 USD). Is that normal?

Last time I booked through them it was like $11 USD per person. Anyone have any idea why I got a higher amount?

ETA: Stopover was longer than 4 hours so part of it was stopover fee.

It would be very expensive for a business class ticket. Any other program?

Nope, and if your set on flying business class with them (which is just like a domestic first class seat) you'll get better value by buying a rev ticket, they're pretty cheap

i had a dca-tlv ticket on delta with a stop in jfk on aug 8 when delta had the computer glitch. my dca-jfk leg got cancelled. delta offered me a later flight which wouldve needed a later jfk-tlv flight as well. i declined and instead drove to jfk. delta sent me a 200 dollar voucher. i then complained to the dot and delta responded that theyre sorry... i emailed my dot rep that i didnt find their answer satisfactory. he responded that they dont mediate but theyll file my complaint. my question is i remember dan writing about his fiasco with AA that he had the dot rep act as a go between, how do i do that

Probably a couple of crazy questions. AA mileage doesn't seem to work very well (NY to TLV). Great mileage rates with BA but almost as much cash that you can get a regular cash flight! So my questions: 1. Any one know of a better way to use AA miles for a trip to Israel. 2. Any one know how to transfer AA miles into Delta or United?
As an aside, I noticed that whether you choose mileage or cash with mileage on Delta, the mileage is the same in economy but the cash is much higher in miles plus cash!

UA confirmed and issued me a ticket but never took out the miles from my account. Does this make sense ?

Depends on the fare class, not every class is eligible.

Thanks. From the available flights I've seen I wonder if selling the AA miles is a better choice
