Why is different than deodorant?
Good point lol. Guess I didn't think of that because I don't use spray haha.

Are you allowed to pack a spray can of Pam in a suitcase or is that considered a compressed air can that they don't allow?

Funny, I was thinking this exact question today, about the PAM, because the PAM in the Costco in Cancun didn't have a hechsher (at least I didn't see it when I looked).  I don't usually use spray deodorant, either, but I do acknowledge the "no aerosols in checked luggage" disclaimer every time I fly.  So, are some aerosols allowed and some not?  I looked it up on the TSA website (https://www.tsa.gov/travel/security-screening/prohibited-items) and found this:
Aerosols are prohibited with the exception of personal care items or toiletries in limited quantities.

I wonder if the PAM would qualify as a "personal care item"? Probably worth trying it. Worst they do is confiscate it, right?

FWIW, I brought it with and TSA actually opened my bag and didn't take it away.

We are flying BOS-DUB on EI and then on a separate ticket, 8 hours later, also on EI, DUB-MAD.

Will EI check our luggage through to MAD without any issue, or do I need to do anything ahead of time, like try to get them to "marry" the itineraries? (Is that even possible?)

They did take away my deodorant, as always with the TSA, YMMV.

I think you can answer that for half the questions asked on the forums. You should save it as a draft. Thanx for your help.

Anyone know if I can transit JED, or anywhere else in Saudi Arabia, if I'm flying on two separate itineraries? In on QR, and out on LH?

I'm asking because I will not be able to enter Saudi Arabia because I'm a US citizen without a visa, and also, possibly a second problem is that I will have checked luggage.
