I'm afraid its a scam i tried logging into it from the regular website and it says my email address doesn't exist. There was another email with a link but I'm afraid to open it.

Looks real. Got the same exact nusach from Jet blue. Looks like they use the same company. What irony. :)

Email@domain.com seems legit.

When I go to Alaska airlines site and search for a itinerary with using miles checked (award), I get 3 airlines' flights - Alaska/American/Delta..

1) So can I use BA avios (by calling BA) to book any airlines' award flights shown on Alaska's site or only Alaska will work?

I want to fly domestic within USA using British Airways avios. I know I can book American award flights on BA site. But these days American has very bad availability on all domestic flights.

2) Is there any other way I can use BA avios for domestic flights except American?

Did you try to ask Elal?  I know you can't rely on phone reps, but they may have an answer for you.
FWIW, phone rep said they would not allow it...

Don't remember what it's called, but you definitely should not bank on it working.

Yes. Baggage must be taken through customs at your first port of entry into the USA.
Play it smart.

For example don't ask the check in agent if you can take your bags or in EWR. She won't like it.

In fact, don't mention it to anyone. Make sure the person flying knows where the destination on their ticket is and refers to only that as their destination.

BA can only be used in the domestic US  for american and alaska. you need to call BA to book AS

no one airport, anywhere that Ryanair or easy jet fly to will have cheap flights on said airlines.
