You won't know the fare class until you book, it can vary. It's a normal revenue ticket on the airline's side so if it gets booked into an upgradable fare class than you can upgrade.

Amex will put the returned amount as a credit on your card.
If you appeal to supervisor maybe you can get the points reinstated

When I go to cancel my flight on BA it keeps telling me that I have to call. Of course the call center is closed. Is there any way to cancel it or do I have to wait until the call center opens?
