Any potential issues booking the following?

TLV-IST RT Y rev. Connecting to a separate ticket,

IST-ATL RT J points. (TLV-IST segment not available with points.)

All with TK.

Will they check luggage all the way to ATL? Will they issue a boarding pass for 2nd segment in TLV?

How can you make a blanket statement like that?!? It depends what the rev. fare is.

the fare is usually the same most of the time. Obviously it depends on the fare but its usually 135k points RT including YQ and you earn miles verse 115k RT with SQ plus about $450 YQ and not earning miles

I am going to be going from New York to TLV and has never done a stopover before I always fly direct. But I was going to do a stopover this time and was wondering a few things
1- I need to use United miles so my options are Lufthansa Swiss Austrian any airline much better than the other
2- how much of a stopover do I need to have is an hour and 15-minute connection enough in Switzerland

Swiss, so that you will likely have lie-flat on the second leg. Make sure to check the seat map for your dates though.

Didn't think of that.

Anyway, Don't know what his dates are, but usually not worth to use UA miles for NYC-TLV in Y.
