I flew cathay Pacific (purchased via aa code share ) yyz to hkg in business, but flew economy from jfk to yyz also on aa, but I was charged for the bag, all the explanations that I'm only connecting in yyz and technicaly flying to hkg didn't help because I bought the ticket separate (even tough they were both an American Airlines flight), anyway of getting back my $25?

Really living up to your name eh? You can HUCA and try your luck but I'd just leave it. Be thankful it wasn't more

How long does it usually take for miles to be credited on a partner airline? I flew AeroMexico and waiting for miles to be credited to AS.

Any specific reason that Chase has a flight for $235 and MR has the same flight for $273?

Is it worth it to select airline and (potentially) be stuck with it to save ~$77, it should I not worry about being able to change the airline later as necessary?

I'm assuming this is referring to the BP 50% return? Have you done this after part or all of your $200 credit had been used? I used $29 on my selected airline and was wondering how easy it would be to jump around now.

They're the same thing, you just ask to change your selected airline, no reason has to be given why.

I know they are the same, but it was said earlier that once your credit is used it makes it harder to switch selected airlines. In addition, you *officially* can only change it once a year in Jan, and it isn't Jan, hence my question.

Check the website for list of locations. If you are pre approved you may be able to get squeezed in. On my three attempts it didn't work.

I remember hearing that if you book a round-trip itinerary on mileage with United you are able to book one extra flight after from you starting point to a different destination. Does anyone have more information on this? Does this have to be done when book the ticket or do you have to call United after? Any info would be great. TIA

Thank you that was very helpful (and sadly unhelpful too with the new changes)

What I don't fully understand is how 2 and 3 differ?

Stopover rules after 10/5:
1. Free stopovers will no longer be allowed to occur in the region of origin.
2. Free stopovers will no longer be allowed to include a flight that spans 2 regions.
3. Free stopovers will no longer be allowed if the origin and destination of the trip are in different regions.
4. Stopovers will no longer be allowed on a wholly domestic ticket for an additional 10K miles.

On Priceline/Expedia does their free cancellation policy apply even within 24 hours of the flight? Looking for a flight from Orlando to NY tomorrow night and wondering if booking a few different ones makes sense. I obviously don't want to have to pay for more than one flight. (Not putting all my eggs in one basket) Is anyone familiar?

When booking check if it says "free cancelation within 24 hours"
