Anybody know which (if any) airlines allow you to bring two bags in economy to Israel?  Friends are moving there and they are trying to figure out if it's cheaper to just pay for some extra bags or maybe pay a little more for a flight that includes two bags.

Southwest  I believe Avianca, and Cathay Pacific do. There are others as well.

landing in EWR from TLV w/ kids at 4:15 am, enough time to make it through customs and get on a 6:30 domestic flight? Not for me or I would risk it. also no GE etc.

That flight usually has a wait before they deplane, as it usually lands before 4:15 and Homeland Security only opens at 4:15.
Given the situation there is a never a line at that time being its the only flight arriving then.

depending on how grumpy the kids at at 4am lol
Otherwise it shouldn't be an issue at all.

also they start unloading the bags as soon as they get to the gate so there isn't much wait time for your luggage..

I had about 50k Virgin Atlantic points expire due to my own negligence. Has anyone had any luck getting them reinstated by any means aside from buying additional points to reactivate? Thanks.

OW partners dont, do it with them. Have that issue with AA/IB what makes you think that *A would be able to?

Anything that could be done while you book a ticket with a friend and while one ticket goes through and one shows 1 seat left but get an error at the confirmation page.
And looked on the airlines website and no more economy avlb, only business.

Has anyone ever had luck with the airline making something work for the same price range for both flyers? (curios to know if such a fantasy exists. )
