Just had the most bizarre experience. Flying lax-sfo-tlv. One pnr for me and some kids, one for wife and baby, baby has seat. All booked through UR, revenue tickets. Checked in for all flights
online before leaving LA. Get to sfo uneventfully, (except for that they stupidly checked the stroller all the way through to tlv by the gate check) and board flight #2, all scan fine, except my wife's.
Turns out her ticket was refunded. They rebooked her, but had no record of it at all. Ended up being the last to board, having started in preboarding.
The only thing I could think of was that I had an award J ticket for her on that flight, which I canceled weeks ago. But if that was the issue, then I shouldn't have been able to check in at all.
Any ideas?
