I booked an AA flight with avios, how do I go about getting free luggage from my citi AA card?
Make sure your AA mileage number is on the reservation.
If your BA number is already on, you'll usually need to call AA to change it or do it in the airport.

Can someone explain to me how basic economy works with international flights and with codeshare?

If Delta sells me a BE ticket on VS metal does it have any/some/all BE restrictions? What if VS sells me a ticket for the same price on DL metal, if VS doesn't mention it being BE does that me Delta won't try restrict me?

Same for AA and Finnair.

What if it's BA metal and AA and Finnair are selling a ticket for the same price, AA calls it BE and Finnair doesn't?

Am I better off buying a BA ticket on AA metal or an AA ticket on BA metal?

I'd be grateful for all and any insight!

I'd like to book the following trip:
IAD-->BCN - on UA using UA miles
BCN-->WAW-->TLV - on LOT using UR points

The 1st leg is intercontinental so I get a free bag but on the 2nd and 3rd leg I do not get a free bag.  Since UA and LOT are both Star Alliance is there anyway to combine the tickets after I purchase them so I can get a free bag all the way through?

Effective November 1, 2019, United Club customers, including members and their guests, and one-time pass holders will need to provide a same-day boarding pass for travel on United, Star Alliance or a contracted partner for entry into all United Club locations. See United Club terms and conditions

You can't change the name of the FF account?

I redeemed ur points for a flight for myself and a plus 1 for a flight from lga to yyz (redeemed a few weeks ago). Redeemed from sr account.

Now the plus 1 - different first and last name - doesn’t want to fly- will it mess me up with checking in and boarding? Any way to cancel the plus 1 flight and leave mine alone (would be great if I could get the points back).

Should I call sr rep?

no need to worry, won't mess up your reservation.
If you want you can try calling airline to split PNR and cancel out the other pax. Doubt they'll offer a refund

My suggestion is keep the reservation and check him/her in online and enjoy the extra seat next to you.

So what do I do about checking in? I can’t check in online without the plus 1’s passport info. Should I ask them for it or no need to check in online (carry-on only).
