I am on LY30 from YYZ-TLV booked in Premium Economy Seat 18C (W) when they scanned my boarding pass they said "seating" and gave me a new pass seat 12G class C.. They upgraded me to buisness. Then I though I heard something about weight and balance. Does that make sense? Anyone else with similar experience?

I doubt it... It looks like they emptied the premium economy section into buisness but PE is not completly empty... Nothing about this really makes sense...

Need some advice. I have a flight booked on UA for Sunday morning, ORD-IAH-RTB. There is a weather waiver in effect, so I'm debating if I should take a Saturday night flight instead. As it stands, I have a 1 hour connection in IAH, and I have a charter waiting for me in RTB. My thought is to leave the Midwest Saturday night, and make the same flight out of IAH to RTB, but with more of a buffer in case we are delayed. Don't really want to be traveling all night and day though. Any thoughts?
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

When you book a ticket with an airline gift card and then cancel, how are you reimbursed? A new gift card or do they send cash? (Recently had one and they sent a check. Wondering what other's have experienced.)

Which airline sent you a check?

Is there a way to arrange with the airline to surprise a loved one on the plane with a dessert or something? Happens to be LY in this case...

Has anyone here ever experienced (or know someone that did) issues when not having enough room in a passport for an entry visa?

I was on a trip with a friend in that situation, one country they just stamped on a paper, in the UK it was a big problem and they held him up for an hour, Norway was a big problem as well, in another country they stamped where there was a little space even though part of it was on top of a different stamp.

Bottom line, you'll get through but it can be a headache in some countries.

I'm referring to the full page visas. Not just stamps.

I know that, generally, if you have a round-trip ticket, and you skip the outbound, the return leg gets cancelled.

Is this a hard-and-fast rule?  Any way around it in the following situation:
I booked a round-trip basic economy ticket on AA for a friend of my son, SFO-MSY-SFO.
Now, the outbound date is one day too early.
Seems like my options are
1. Consider the ticket a total loss and buy two new tickets (SFO-MSY and MSY-SFO).
2. Ask AA if they will change the outbound leg to the next day for a change fee. (Is that even possible with basic economy?)
3. Ask AA if they will drop the outbound leg, and then we'll just buy a replacement outbound leg (on AA or otherwise).

Please advise.

Just making sure, It wasn't booked within the last day on Expedia/Priceline?

Nope, booked three weeks ago, for flights in March. Booked on aa.com.

AFAIK it's option 1, and make sure to look out for any schedule changes or a delay to get your money back.

Dan always says to buy 2 one way tickets, was it more expensive?

Thanks.  Good idea about the schedule change.   I don’t remember if it was more expensive or if I was just being lazy.  Probably the latter.
