just in case anyone is curious- i changed my united return flight to wednesday morning, then wednesday afternoon- then to wednesday night and finally i got a flight that was cancelled and got my money back, so a little patience, time and some bad weather can pay off
I was curious.  But how did you keep changing your flight? Was it free because it was in the 'storm' window?  Did you randomly end up picking a cancelled flight, or there was some trick to find one?

Seen that too, bookable directly on aa.com. Sometimes it won’t come up searching on aa, but comes when forwarded from GF, Kayak etc.

Does DOB make any difference on tickets? I booked tickets for my 3 kids all with the same year of birth.

Will I get pre check for them?

Do you mean tsa-precheck?

DOB's  on the ticket need to match the TSA Precheck profile.

Had an issue with that once. I did an awards ticket and TSA Precheck did not show up after trying multiple times. Figured out afterwards the my DOB on the ticket was wrong.

I have TSA precheck and my DOB is good. Q is if my kids are now “officially” over over 18 will they still get pre check cuz of me.

Is there any issue other the the pre check with wrong DOB?

If they are all booked on the same reservation as you, they should all automatically get it printer on their boarding pass (nothing to do with them being under 18).

Also, even if they don’t have it printed (if booked on separate records), you can bring them into the line with you (IME).

No.

Even if they don't have precheck on their BP, they can come with you regardless. They have no way of seeing an age, and will obviously not assume the kid in the stroller turned 28 last week.
Memories last forever, make them while you can.

The rule is 12 and under can come with you. Honor system. Lady didn't believe me about my 12 year old and was making faces, till I offered id, which she wasn't allowed to look at

united had issued a travel waiver for the whole week, so you could change your flight as many times as you wished with no change fee or having to pay for the difference in fare.
there was no trick, just siyatta dishmaya, i originally tried finding flights coming from ORD with the assumption they would be delayed leaving due to the weather which would mean they would depart IAH late, but those didnt work and then I just picked any "random" flight

I am looking to fly to UK for Pesach. I notice that whenever looking for flights it says 0 suitcases. Last I flew overseas was a year ago but we always got free luggage. What has changed?
Also, if I have the citi AAdvantage card, will that give me free bags for each traveler if I’m booking a flight on BA/Iberia but AA are flying on of the ways.

Usually privileges go with your status of the airline on which you're flying, regardless of how you booked it.

Yes. Basic economy is new on intl flights and doesn't allow you to check bags even if you have a credit card with the airline.

That's with AA. United does on its own metal. I believe Delta does too.

Think this been asked before like a few years ago but if I need to change my ticket and ticket is not refundable but it is chanable is it worth it to wait  it out a few weeks and see if the airline changes the schedule and maybe I can change for free?
