Does anyone have experience getting a refund on fully refundable ("flex") fare ticket from Aer Lingus?  I'm just seeking reassurance that the process is straightforward and that there are no pitfalls to avoid.

Is it possible to get travel insurance for a trip booked with miles? I mean reimbursement for cancellation for medical reasons.

Sure, just do the refund fee as the trip cost

Yes, just walk through the parking lot. I've done it in the past.

it's not an official walkway hence not on the map. Maybe 5-7 min walk, I have not done it in a while.

What’s the minimum turnaround time for LH in TLV airport?
I’m running very late and hoping that it’s well over an hour...

Delta basic economy says no advance seat assignment https://www.delta.com/content/www/en_US/traveling-with-us/onboard-experience/basic-economy.html

But what if you are traveling with kids? They will split up a family?
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

I've seen it happen. Not worth the risk.

United does allow you to book seats for basic economy by paying a small fee and is still much more reasonable than regular economy.

From my experience of flying many many times with multiple airlines that I did not pay for the seat assignments for they have put us together. On the few times we weren’t put all together either they switched our seats by the gate or the flight attendants asked someone to move on the plane but that only happened once. It is in the airlines best interest not having small children sit without their parents.

Thanks for confirming. With the Basic Economy fare, advanced seating is available without fee for children under 5 years of age and an accompanying adult. Do you have a preference for which adult you would like pre-seated with the child? TLS

Not directly answering your question but last week I flew basic economy with DL CDG-JFK. I had bassinet seats confirmed at the online check-in and at the airport the moved me and the dw to random seats. The agent was from the airport not from the company and she said that a younger baby was assigned to our seats (it was just a old couple that occupied them during the flight...). We asked for a DL to come and he assigned us the next to seats which were also bassinet.
He did ask me for my boarding pass with the assigned seats but I don't think they are allowed to move people after online check-in.
