Just booked business (I) tickets on BA form NYC  to Moscow through Chase.
I went to BA to book seats and they want almost $100 each leg per seat!!!
Is this penny  pinching the same with all the airlines now?
I could fly AA or Finnair for the same price and UA for a smidgen more.  Should I cancel the BA and go for one of those?
when check in opens 24 hour before flight, seat selection is free.

All those others mentioned will be free seat selections.

got this email is it a scam?
did any body ever do this?

My name is Michelle McRae from RRU Research and we are partnered with United Airlines to gather feedback from customers regarding their airline travel experiences and opinions.

Specifically, we are conducting a two hour in-person focus group which will take place on Wednesday November 13th.  It is a two hour group discussion from 4:00PM-6:00PM or 7:00PM-9:00PM depending on which segment you qualify for.  You will be compensated $200 CASH for your participation if you qualify for this study.  We are located in Midtown Manhattan.

Please be assured that this study is for research purposes only.  There are no sales involved, and you will not be contacted in the future as a result of your participation.

If you are interested in participating in the in-person focus group, please give me a call at 718-222-5600x 204 so we can go through the questionnaire.

Space is limited, so please accept our apologies if we are unable to include you in this event.

Thanks so much,

Might not be a bad way to get some quick cash if you work or live near the city.
Very good pay for a focus group.
I'm not who you think I am.

Do I need a passport to book an international ticket? (The passport is in transit)
If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

No. If the airline requires a passport, you can just make up a number. It doesn’t have to match when you check in.

Where can I find my Icelandair fare code short of PUTPAC? It seems to be non-existent on their website, on Amex Travel's, CMT, etc.

EDIT: Decided to not be lazy and called Amex. Got it in 30 seconds. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

Check the seat map online if there is an option to just buy a business class seat.

Is there a way to know in advance if my AA flight is using "AA in-flight" for Wi-Fi or Boingo?
IME the one time passes do not work for AA in-flight...

Anyone know why La Compagnie blocks all bulkhead seats, and how to get them to open them?

Thank you for contacting Gogo.
I'm sorry for the past issues, we can only know if a flight will be gogo equipped 24hrs before the flight, since that's when they assigned the aircraft to the flight, you just need to contact us with the flight number and that way we can look it up.
