I'm no maven by any means but why would a 4.5 hour flight be put on such a tiny plane?

If it's not free shipping it's not worth it.

JFK-DFW served by these planes all the time although delta is flying there new A220. Also the flight is 3.5 not 4.5 they are adding the time difference

I would like to fly to Israel nonstop in business class from NYC. What are the best points/miles to accumulate for this and which airlines should I be looking to book through? Thanks

Does the second leg have a AA flight number also?

No it operated by as that's why it's complicated because the second segment is longer that's why i want the as seat privileges however i was told the first carrier is the one with the baggage allowance so unless they recognize my gold status automatically if i don't put the aa number instead i might not get it that's my questions

Even on the assumption I'll find a aa agent which is willing to help (not likely) aren't they gonna have to take out my as number?

They should be able to keep the 2 flights separate at that point, and leave it in the second flight

Anyone have experience with elal to get the first class section seat when its not booked at all. I'm flying out on a business seat and there are a few first class seats that as of now are blocked for booking (its a 777 that still has those few seats) if I show up 3 hrs early any chance of getting it?

TP can book them in advance.
Then it's airport allocation, depending how full the flight is. Typically they would give them for free to the highest class rates then highest status etc, if they need to free up space in C.

If they dont need to free up space they would just leave it empty?

If someone could answer i would appreciate it....

I have a flight on united booked EWR-DFW tomorrow night at 645pm. I have been trying to do a same day flight change but no luck as united says there is no availability... Is there any point in trying to show up and go on standby? Ideally i would be trying to get on the 600am flight.... Maybe going into the united club would help? I have pases available...

Yes.
Its convenient, if u like to take a long flight as opposed to splitting time.
Always praying for delayed baggage.
