Just boarded a AA flight in LGA and they had TSA agents (like 6) checking all boarding passes and ID's.... Anyone ever have anything similar?

Interesting after pushing and Taxing to runway we returned to the Ramp.... captain said we needed to remove a bag wonder if it is related...

as of a couple of years ago if you pay the taxes  with the united cc per the terms you should get free luggage however multiple dp that it did not work automatically like with united mileage tickets
i know some people that were able to call and get the luggage charges refunded
well I just gave it a try. I booked United using lifemiles and paid the 9/11 fee using my United CC and it's not showing me free luggage on my reservation, so apparently it doesn't work when booking with lifemiles.

I called United and they said they couldn't do anything because the ticket isn't there ticket, it's Avianca's ticket. I tried speaking to a supervisor but he said the same thing. So in short if you book United using Lifemiles, even if you pay the taxes with your United card you won't get free baggage.

You should be able to get the fees refunded if you show them you used your card.

I asked this question a while ago and dan responded it will work- I tried it- (I did not check before) but at the airport I went to check a bag and it was free! More recently (maybe 4 months ago) I by accident used my biz platinum for the taxes on lifemiles and I also had a free bag- not sure why though, I dont have any status or anything

New from JetBlue

No change or cancel fees starting 4/1/21 for most fares.
All fares booked through 3/31/21 will still enjoy no change or cancel fees. After that, changing or cancelling your plans will still be easy, with:

No change or cancellation fees prior to day of travel for Blue, Blue Plus and Mint fares on all routes (fare difference applies). Same-day confirmed switches can be made for $75, without paying a fare difference.
No change or cancellation fees (fare difference applies), and free same-day confirmed switches, for Blue Extra fares.
Blue Basic fares can be changed or cancelled for a $100 fee for travel within the U.S., Caribbean, Mexico or Central America, or $200 for all other routes. Same-day confirmed switches can be made for a $75 fee (no fee for Mosaic members), without paying a fare difference.

Really depends on the flight attendant. Good luck. Does your child look younger than 2?

Would Chase Sapphire baggage delay insurance require the ticket to be purchased with the sapphire, or if the bag fee was paid would that be sufficient?

I booked the RT GRU-JFK AA Buisness flight a couple weeks ago, with a stop in MIA. Im suppposed to fly from GRU to JFK but I need to go somewhere else other than NY. Anyway to get them to switch my MIA-JFK ticket, or even cancel it, but still keep the return back from NYC-GRU?
