Looking to pick someone up directly from the gate, and am looking for the easiest way to get through security. I'm assuming booking a flight is easiest, but does anyone know which airline or method of booking is easiest to cancel online? I'm not looking to be on the phone with CS for hours today.

how would i go about this dilemma: were bringing a new stroller to ey. its big. while in the box the dimensions are 191 cm which exceeds the 158cm limit (turkish).
what are my options? does turkish allow to check in a stroller without a baby? it happens to be we're already checking in 1 stroller for another member of our travel group , that has a baby. (i guess we could separate from each other for a few minutes and ask to check in the empty stroller, but wud they even let that?)

even cutting down the box wont help as the frame of the stroller already exceeds the max. (its a double stroller)

whats the cost of oversized baggage?

thoughts??

my brother did it as a bocher around 10 years ago. i dont know which airline he flew though...

Yes it is...that being said, how is the airline gonna know the difference? If you make a habit of this (i.e. booking mileage tickets for other people, then you may eventually get audited...but the odds of that happening the very first time are virtually nill...especially since you have a real relationship with this person since it's a relative)

If the passenger you're picking up is a child or needs assistance, you can probably get a gate pass. At the check in desk.  I got one to bring a kid to the plane, I assume you can get one to pick up, too.

Once you’re checked in (in order to get boarding pass) you can’t just cancel. Need to undo check in first.

So that’s likely what Amex did while you were on the phone. Then voided your ticket.

Thought that might have something to do with it, or that it was a same day booking. I don't believe it let me cancel even before check in.

Priceline also requires a phone call lately, to uncheck you.
At least for some airlines.

I have a customer who wants to fly Air Canada (YUL - TLV)
What is the cancellation policy, if they need to cancel?
Also do they have refundable flights?

Might have gotten confused with this 1 year policy.

+1
I just cancelled and that line came up, so somebody might think he has one year to use it, but all it means that you need to cancel within a year of booking.

I booked a united flight using BOA Reward points.
Any way I can add another cash flight onto that PRN? (I want to be sure that my luggage follows me, and that if i miss the second flight, they will accommodate me. United. Reward is International from EWR, I want to add a domestic revenue flight before that flight to EWR.

A "BOA Reward Flight" is essentially a regular revenue ticket, no? Just possibly booked on their internal card and you paid them with points (or charged on your card and use points to cover the statement).

It is technically doable (as in, if you had booked this with a regular travel agent, no problem at all) but you'll probably have a hard time convincing someone at the BOA "travel department" (or even United directly) to do it.
