What to do with vanilla visa debits?
« on: May 03, 2015, 05:06:30 PM »
I ordered a couple thousand worth of vanilla debit cards not realizing I can't reload them into Bluebird. I've searched through the forums but I can't find anything about what to do with these cards other than switching to REDBird which I don't want to do. Any ideas? I have 10 $200 cards.

Why don't you want to get a redcard?

Use them for your expenses. Maybe don't buy so many till you know what to do with them...

Ill take all of them at face value if you accept credit card.

I'll pay a 1% premium if you open up a processing account and register as a phone service provider.

I don't want a Redcard because I'll have to drive several hours to get one and once I have one I doubt the cashiers in my area are going to know how to load it so I'm going to get a lot of questions.

That wasn't a real offer... If you're already accepting cc you can just swipe the cards yourself!

I'm not though and I don't want to start. Especially since that costs like 3%.

If you're willing to take a small loss, offer to sell them here. I'm sure they'll be snapped up!

Is $2,000 really that much in terms of a lot of what goes on here? Simmer down man.

What doesn't make sense? Sell them at 95% value out 90% value, you'll lose on the deal but you'll get your money back fast.
