I would love a wiki with a basic description of the cities. Things to do,  kosher options,  if there is minyan... And a link to the that cities thread.

I think that's a great idea! Something like this? (See wiki)

Not sure how to approach the activities section. List the types of activities you can find in that city, or list out the actual main attractions in each city?

Out of the entire Europe you picked that? ?
Based on his criteria I felt like it was a place that would be overlooked by others and should be considered.  I left it up to others to mention Prague, Paris, Venice...

I'm on tapatalk so can't add to the wiki, but I think Barcelona should be added.  Minyanim, kosher food, museums, architecture, history...

Yes, I agree that many more cities should be added. As in EVERY tourist city in Europe. Some of us don't have UNLIMITED time. Well, not today at least.  ;D

Do you mind moving this to Trip/Destination Reports?
Thanks JJ

Which month Would you be going?
mid-july to mid-august timeframe thinking 2-3 week timeframe. Im limited due to school

How do you want to get around and are you budgeting at all?

Obviously it comes down to what you want to see.

Venice, Paris, Amsterdam, Rome, Florence, Zurich/Lucerne, Prague, Vienna, Budapest.

Those are in order of what I've been to and suggest off the top of my head without knowing what you are looking for.

Also to consider is London, Madrid, Barcelona, Nordic Countries, Holocaust related places.

miles and $. do you suggest BA vs the train?

those are all cities i'd love to see just dont think it is possible to see in my short timeframe. so I'm looking to make the most of it until the next time i can visit.

i figured i wouldnt be getting to any beaches, but i like the idea of 1 relaxing day among the havoc of running around

You can read my TR of a road trip I did for some ideas. I did all the cities I listed besides Paris in under 2 weeks. It would be very easy to add Paris and London if you had 3 weeks.

Better do 2 or 3 cities leisurely and really get a feel for the places then rush around seeing 5 in 2 weeks. You get a lot more out of it doing it the right way.

Depends on your style. I would be totally bored in 2 or 3 cities in 2 whole weeks.
5 days in Paris + 5 days in London + 4 days in Venice? No thanks
Life isn't about checking the boxes. Nobody cares.

+1000. Glad AJ has it all figured out. There are many cities I spent one day in and I have no interest in going back again.

As I said before it depends what the OP wants to get out of the vacation.

Yep. And given his insistence on chilling on the beach and relaxing I'd say it's likely he's not interested in being on a plane or train every other day of the trip. Which brings me back to what I said to him, based on what it sounds like he wants,

One reply from the OP would settle this but he said he wants ONE day to relax amid all the traveling. So he wants to go to a lot of cities unlike what your saying...

Thanks for the responses.
I'm looking to accomplish as much as possible yet prefer not to be extremely rushed so similar to what AJ said, I would like to see 5 vs 10 or more of they can be done in this short amount of time.

Hope to fly via miles. Not sure about hotels. Only have so many points in UR/MR/Hilton/spg/United/AA/BA
