How is Israeli attitude any better than American?
+100000

Maybe Platinum Guy likes these kind of attitudes.

I flew elal to New York for pesach it was really nice,we were on the 747 upstairs.
It was really nice to travel in business class direct (I booked them long ago with aa) it feels like a private jet up there.

We had very good service and half the cabin was empty.
I will write the truth, I flew already LH-F SQ-R and I enjoy business class better, they don't come every 2 seconds asking what you want, they overdue it in first class.

But let's not forget this was elal so something weird had to happen with them :o
I had an infant with me and half the cabin was empty so I sat across the aisle from my wife and the infant sat next to my wife, the manger came over to me and said I need to pay $800 for taking an extra seat in business class I thought he was joking but-no,he said people want to have an empty seat next to them so I asked what will it help if you put $800 in your pocket that people should be happy? I told him no one paid for two seats here.

The only way I was able to send him away was by showing him my boarding pass (I originally booked 2 seats one across the aisle from each other hoping next to one of them would stay empty),so I said I am sitting on my seat and my wife doesn't matter if the seat next to het is not empty and especially when it's her son.

But I would really like to fly them again, anyway to book besides matmid?
Is Aeromexico and qantas airlines partners with them? Can I book an award with them?

If you will allow me, I will say that CX J is not that much better than DL J. Especially on the 747.

the 747 is gone on tlv route for almost 9 months... but even on the 747 dl j to cx j what are you smoking??

I agree with Ilherman. CX J on 777 is only marginally better than DL J on 777.
The seat is virtually the same and DL even has better bedding than CX, the IFE is the about the same, the service on CX J is a little better than DL.
And DL has wifi!
I'd pick DL over CX just for the wifi.

I am not sure what you seems to think... But TAs / Consolidators work with senior executives in the airlines. They get their information from trusted sources, on the other hand senior FAs will tell you what their colleague told them.. A huge difference.

I posted this http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=50200.msg1079055#msg1079055

like 6 months before the official announcement. I heard it from a consolidator.

Was told today by an employee by AA that they are looking to "reroute" the TLV flight to NYC
