If you are currently and Amex customer, they most likely will not pull at all. I personally have had 3 credit cards approved in one day as well as 2 credit and a charge, but from what I understand, that isn't typical.

I am an Amex customer so I guess I'll hope for the best.

Recently they have been pulling more often IME, but it still should be just 1 a day max.

So then I guess I can't lose by applying for both. Even if I get rejected for one of them  hopefully it won't cost me a hard pull.

DP: Just got approved for 2 credit today. Auto approved for delta gold biz and called to get delta gold personal approved.

How many credit cards and charge cards did you have with Amex before this approval? Are they still at 5 credit cards and no limit for charge cards?

I only had 1 credit, so no data on that.

There's a FT thread about it....sounds like some ppl can't even get a 5th.

But on the other hand, frequentmiler posted an article in August called "Is the Amex 5 Credit Card Limit Gone?" He says he just got approved for a 6th and 7th credit card.

Thanks, I have 5 and will try for the Simply Cash or Blue Business  as a 6th in the next few weeks, will report then.

Has anyone booked Virgin Atlantic miles for Delta business class metal to TLV or Europe? how easy or hard is it to snag such an award using VS points for DL business metal?.

Yea, called VS to test the waters with DL J Metal to TLV and no dates were available to book, unless there is something that I don't know!!


To where did you book? was is it on DL J? how many VS points?

If I booked
TLV - AMS ( on KLM) then AMS - JFK ( on Delta) ; ATL- CDG- TLV  ( Air France)  in economy the card was charged to Delta for all these flights which are on the same itinerary. Now I want to try to use my AMex Plat credit to upgrade part of the flight. What is the best way to about it? If I try to upgrade the AF leg with my cc get charged to Delta or it will get charged to AF?

I think they are not transferable but you can still book for someone else, I see several for sale here, you can list it for sale, check what others are asking.

No, but I have seen others selling them,if the name has to match then they can't be sold, maybe someone with first hand experience can answer.
