If I open both the Delta Platinum and Reserve Amex cards, can i get a total of $5,000 MQD? Or $10,000 with the personal and biz together?

Answer is yes!

From the terms:

Quote
Regardless of the number of Eligible Cards a SkyMiles Member may hold, each SkyMiles Member may only receive one $2,500 MQD deposit per Eligible Card type each Medallion Qualification Year and is limited to a maximum of four deposits across all Eligible Cards each Medallion Qualification Year (for $10,000 MQDs total).

I booked an award ticket on Delta which includes travel on AF and LY (AF EWR --> CDG, LY CDG --> TLV). Two Questions:
  • Where can I find the LY booking code? I would like to select seats, meals, etc.. not available on DLs website
  • If I purchase an additional leg room seat (from AF) on the AF segment and I end up canceling the ticket, will I be refunded for the cost of the seat upgrade (ticket is fully refundable as was purchased with DL points)?
TIA

I was able to get the LY booking code by texting DL. Still looking for the answer to "If I purchase an additional leg room seat (from AF) on the AF segment and I end up canceling the ticket, will I be refunded for the cost of the seat upgrade (ticket is fully refundable as was purchased with DL points)?"

For future reference you can get the LY booking code from LY 'manage my booking', log in with ticket number.
Don't know about leg room question

In most cases, purchases of extras on flights are non refundable

In past cancellations they didn't allow me to rebook to EWR online for free, but when I chatted with them they did it

GDS allows
Was quoting a friend who had booked and delta.com and rebooked over the phone
He also added that the first agent wouldn't help him "because the flight is not yet cancelled" but once he escalated they were able to

Hi,
I was booked on a Delta business flight JFK-TLV that was rebooked onto El Al. The ticket is still a delta ticket, but I'm flying with El Al and checking in at airport with El Al.
Does anyone know if I'll be able to go into the Delta lounge at JFK?
(I also have Amex Platinum, but it's hard to tell if they'll consider me as "flying delta")

Thanks!

You won't be able to. They are very strict. Only VS lounge used by LY

Doesn't seem like an honest airline policy as my original flight was on Delta One. They canceled the flight. My ticket is still booked through Delta. They should honor that.

(Obv I'm thrilled to be rebooked onto El Al, but they don't know that)

I'm booking a Delta flight to Cleveland (hi @Dan) this weekend Sep 27-29 and the roundtrip is $428 but when search one-ways its $405 each way! Whats happening?

I am seeing this on all carriers for non-stop flights on those dates and checked Skiplagged and not any cheaper using a hidden city....so its not a specific Cleveland thing.

Are there now instances when domestic roundtrip fares are cheaper then one-ways....back to the old days?
