when flying DL domestic with LY gold status, I understand I get 2 free checked bags. does it also apply to companions on same reservation as well?

DP: flew DL domestic with LY TP - I couldn't even get a free bag for myself. DL system showed that I was supposed to pay for suitcases. I chatted with a rep online and after half hour said I was right, but she couldn't update their system. At check in same issue..

Not sure about international, but I just canceled a domestic flight just over 24 hours before the flight.

When booking delta ticket with miles for an infant, can I booked before the infant is born? If I wait the tickets will probably double in price and the infant ticket will be double. Can I change the bday after baby is born on the ticket? Any other way around this? (nyc-tlv)
