CO OnePass credit card 50K SIGNUP BONUS

Just got this card and found out that the annual lounge passes dont start until your 2nd year.  That seems misleading, to advertise it as a card benefit when it is really a retention bonus.
Is there any way to get it early?

They're pretty straightforward about that in the footnotes of the Chase CO application.
TWO UNITED CLUB PASSES: Please allow 6 – 8 weeks from your credit card account anniversary date each year for delivery.

HOWEVER, I did notice this in the new application for the MP card from chase.com:
TWO UNITED CLUB PASSES: You will receive two (2) Club passes after account opening and every account anniversary thereafter. Please allow 8 – 10 weeks after account opening for delivery of Club passes.

I've never known anyone to get them with the CO OP card...only after the anniversary date (unless someone here has a different experience with the CO OP card)

I understand that they explain it in the footnotes, I hadnt realized that before though and they sell the lounge pass as a card benefit which generally you get right away.

Can I apply for the United Explorer card still if I still have a CO card open?
Or would I have to use a new FUN number?


I don't want to apply and THEN be told I can't get the sign up bonus.

I recieved mine CO pass on the 11th month. Just 2 weeks after I closed the account.

I sent a Secure Message for both my Co and United cards to get matched the extra 20k points to a total of 50k. I received replies about March 15 that they will add the extra 20k.
However, it's now April 19 and the extra points have not posted.
Anyone experience this?

I opened the card about seven months ago, I believe than, the annual 2 lounge passes were only after anniversary, yesterday I got in the mail two passes with an apology that its so late after account opening etc.
Now I look in the T&C it does say you get it after account opening.
Anybody else got it?

I got 2 of them two times (4) last week also that are plain vanilla passes with an expiration date that can be used by anyone
  Confused because I also got two that I believe I have to have my  UA MPE  Card to use enter info etc on. Anyone get the other type also and can it be used without FF number card etc ?
