Is $1500 dollars worth it for first class ticket?
« on: May 11, 2015, 05:53:10 PM »
There's availability to fly from JFK TLV through PHL in Americans first class, for $1500.
Is it worth it to sell my miles and book that, or rather book with miles?
The dates are 6/03 to 06/10

(Let me just preempt the conclusion: the long haul is in economy. If I had a dollar for every time this happened...)

Thus may as well be a picture of the leaning tower of pisa. Would have about the same effect.

There was no "yes" or "no" anywhere in the post

Does the answer need to have a yes or no, if the question isn't a question in the first place?

The question was if 1500 is worth it for a first class ticket to israel. The answer is yes
Considering that the OP didn't explain if the long haul is in first. If you insist on a yes or no answer, the best answer would probably be No. That way he doesn't sell his miles and be stuck with this ticket when he could've gotten a real first class ticket with his miles.

This conversation doesn't seem to be going anywhere. Unless you have a good question, I probably won't respond.
