:) well i just spent a week in FL with a rental car driving around with my family, don't think i passed the 75 mph, i guess big percentage of the rental goes to people traveling with their families on vacation, always look at bright side :) or maybe i'm too naive.
did i mention i have formula 3 driving training & certificate!
Out of 20k miles if "only" 10k are very abuse its not in good shape
I wonder what people who type "u" instead of "you" do with all their free time.

Don't forget the prices on hertz don't include taxes. So you gotta add a few more thousand bucks to the price

I know a dealer who buys from f4om minivan rentals in Midwest. Mostly families on vacation. Driven okay, maintained very well. He's had very good experiences with it.

I feel bad to anyone who's bought almost any car I've rented...I usually did monthly rentals and there was always a considerable difference in the drive from pick up to drop off, it's not just flooring the car there's abusive driving and normal driving...

+1
I bought a minivan (through a dealer) that was a rental in St Louis. Almost three years later and no problems BA'H.
The people renting minivans are people with families, not yeshiva guys. They don't necessarily care about the car but they do care about their families and themselves.

Definitely true but I'd still be wary of a minivan from anywhere near Lakewood/nyc

Mine is 4WD.  You're welcome to borrow it when you need it.
