A. Is the Optimum mobile or you just have to rely on the random hotspots they set up throughout the city (thereby losing service when going from one to another)?
B. Is the Optimum unlimited?
C. How much were you paying Verizon for the 20gb?

If by "on the go wifi" you mean the hotspots that sounds like their regular first-year promotion.

Verizon FIOS did a hard pull from Equifax. Even for those providers that do a hard credit pull, ask if you can pay a deposit in lieu of that. Or freeze your report and they will probably ask for a deposit when they see they can't access it.

If only I would've known that. I've got a pull from optimum. They never mentioned that they would.

I asked the rep Q's about the pull and she didnt know anything ...she just needed to do a credit check just to even give me a quote. I left that deal fast! ( it was fios)

I need to get new phones( with plans) should i look to combine that (same company) with the home internet i need ?

Verizon Mifi just installed an awesome update on their hotspot. It can now tether with one device and still have wifi enabled for other devices; something not available till the end of last week.

For me, it was $24.95 for 5mb/s download / 1mb/s upload + $5 for modem rental (which I hope to avoid by using my own), no term commitment.
