Award Nexus Master Thread
« on: September 11, 2012, 05:43:37 PM »
Expertflyer.com has removed United Award Alerts.

Any other monitoring service where i could get an email when a Business Saver Sward seat opens from NYC-TLV on a spesific date?

For someone who needs to do a lot of searching, it is not an option. But for the casual user who books 2-3 mileage tickets per year, it is quite a good tool, especially for a noob

Indeed, it's a great service, but the business model makes it so that they discourage you from using the service.  As opposed to EF and KVS that have unlimited plans that encourage you to use their service.

It definitely saved me a lot of time in building and improving my RTW itinerary, but back then it was free.

Even if Award Nexus would have limits on the numbers of searches within a given period of time (like they started doing when it was free), but had an unlimited option they would be selling many more memberships.
Save your time, I don't answer PM. Post it in the forum and a dedicated DDF'er will get back to you as soon as possible.

even for the casual user...   on any given origin-destination there could easily be 30 different ways of getting there (mixing routes/airlines).   on nexus you would burn through money like candy.

What's the story with this? How come no one talks about it?

How is Nexus able to search UA and EF is not?
