advice needed!

similar canadian offer, except the terms say the points can take up to 90 days to post. its only 5k a card and 60 days for the $175 af refund. If I get some and cancel, is it likely that I'll still get the 5k points even after the card is closed? I assume they will be "pending" even though we don't get to see that on CA Amex, can the be removed from the pending list if cancelled??

Chances are 90 days is just to protect themselves not because it'll actually take that long. Imho
